Andrew Huck

Andrew Huck is the founder and CEO of Gulfstream Capital, a registered investment advisory firm created to bring sophisticated asset management services to family offices, institutions, high net worth individuals and athletes. Mr. Huck is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate, with highest honors, from Wake Forest University (1996) and subsequently completed his MBA, with a concentration in portfolio theory, from The University of Virginia (2006). Mr. Huck believes that the holy grail of investing consists of a truly diversified portfolio of non-correlated assets, which Gulfstream Capital offers to its wealth management clients through a variety of innovative solutions including farmland, natural resources, public and private equity, venture capital, disruptive technologies, the life sciences, event driven hedge funds, and a variety of strategic real estate investments. Mr. Huck has served on the boards of several local and national philanthropic organizations including, Young Life, The New Canaan Society, FCA, 4 Market Square, The American Heart Association, and Telemachus (a mentoring initiative). In his free time, Mr. Huck is an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys golf, tennis, snow skiing, squash, and pickleball. He is married to his college sweetheart, and finds his flow coaching his four children on the athletic fields and in life.


Katie Skurski

Ms. Skurski brings over twenty-two years of investment and financial experience to the team including positions with investment firms Fayez Sarofim & Company ($30B AUM) and with Fortune 500 Corporations including Nike and Ruby Tuesday. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa society from Vanderbilt University (B.A. 1999) where she majored in Economics and double minored in Mathematics and Business Administration. Ms. Skurski also holds a Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business (2004) where she focused on financial and investment analysis. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is an active member of the CFA Society of North Carolina. Outside the office, Ms. Skurski enjoys running, swimming, cooking and creating everyday memories with her three children and husband.


Mark Gaffney

Mr. Gaffney is the Head of Trading for Gulfstream Capital’s F-4 Fund. He has over three decades of experience in investment markets. Specializing in the development and execution of event-based equities strategies, Mr. Gaffney operated Gaffney Capital Management from 2005 - 2012. Over that time, he averaged approximately 20% annual returns, with no down years, including a 23.78% return in 2008. Mr. Gaffney has a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Colorado.


Advisors

Raleigh McCammon

Mr. McCammon is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (B.A. 2013) where he concentrated in sports management and business. Prior to joining Gulfstream, Mr. McCammon worked in sports and community development in multiple sports including basketball, baseball and tennis. With his relationships in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NBA, ATP/WTA, and PGA Tour, Mr. McCammon is the ideal person to lead Gulfstream Sports. Outside of the office, he enjoys coaching youth baseball and basketball travel teams and playing tennis.


Theodore McEntee

Mr. McEntee is a current senior at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he is majoring in Finance. He also holds the Bloomberg Master™: Acknowledged in Equities, Fixed Income, Forex, and Commodities certification. Originally from Anaheim, CA, Mr. McEntee played on the Varsity Tennis team for the University of Tennessee from 2018-2021 and is a member of the Campus Life Committee, the Investment Club and the Hope Club. He also volunteers at RAD (Rising Above Disabilities) Camp. As a senior at Servite High School in Anaheim, Mr. McEntee earned the school's prestigious Sherer Courage Award.

Davis Tarwater

Mr. Tarwater holds a Master's Degree from the University of Oxford (2010) in Latin American Studies. His independent research has specialized in US foreign policy as well as reevaluating credit models designed to extend loans within the developing world. Additionally, Tarwater has consulted on numerous sports development projects both domestically and internationally. Tarwater has traveled the globe as a professional speaker offering inspiration and expertise to an audience ranging from young athletes to corporate executives. Tarwater was a 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist as a member of the United States Olympic swim team, and as an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan (2006), he was awarded the Big Ten Medal of Honor recognizing the institution's top student-athlete. He remains active in the local swimming community serving as President of the Executive Board of Tennessee Aquatics, one of the largest youth sports organizations in Knoxville.


Peter Nelson

Mr. Nelson is the co-founder of International Farming Corporation, an alternative investment firm that specializes in the agricultural sector.  He brings over 40 years of sales and marketing experience with the largest direct marketing company in the U.S. His leading selling initiatives have assisted his organization in attaining sales of over $800M annually. He joined Moore Corporation in 1972 and achieved the distinction of the Life Time Achievement award in recognition of his extensive commitment and strong service on behalf of his clients. Mr. Nelson co-founded Gamble Nelson, a high-end Napa Valley wine, which is marketed and sold throughout the U.S. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from San Diego State University (1971), and serves on the boards of several organizations and is a sales strategist for start-up businesses.
